SC State vs FAMU
South Carolina State put on an impressive performance defeating host Florida A&M, 48-14, Saturday Sept. 24 at Bragg Stadium. The Bulldogs amassed 431 yards' total offense in the win. SC State improved to 1-3 overall, 1-0 in the MEAC, while the Rattlers fall to 0-4 overall, 0-1 in the league. The win improves Head Football Coach Buddy Pough's overall record to 13-1 over Florida A&M. Caleb York led the air attack throwing 21-of-38 for 238 yards and four touchdowns, while Bishop Ford finished the game with his first career 100-yard rushing game with 14 carries for 105 yards and touchdown. He finished with 144 total All-purpose yards.
The Rattlers put themselves in a deeper hole by multiple turnovers, after redshirt junior linebacker Dayshawn Taylor ran in a 52-yard interception back for a touchdown to seal the 48-14 victory for SC State. The Bulldogs defense played lights out forcing seven turnovers on the night with four interceptions and three fumbles. All-MEAC redshirt junior linebacker Darius Leonard led the defense with a game-high 11 tackles. Senior defensive back Marquise Jones finished with two interceptions.

Deion Sanders is a former American football and baseball player who works as an analyst for CBS Sports and the NFL Network. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011. Sanders played football essentially at cornerback, additionally as a kick returner, punt returner and once in a while wide receiver. His 'Prime Time' nickname was given to him by a friend and high-school teammate, Florida Gators defensive back Richard Fain. The two played pickup basketball games together during the prime time television hour, and Sanders' athletic display during those games earned him the nickname. My Expectations
My name is Malik Jeter. I am a junior Broadcasting Communications major at South Carolina State University. This is my blog "Cooler Talk" and I will bring to you nothing but the best in all sports. I have a passion for sports. My goal is to become a sports analyst for the company of ESPN. That is a goal i'm willing to accomplish.
My expectations for this blog is very high. I want people to sit and enjoy everything i do on here. I feel like having a blog will help me in the long run. This is also the first time I ever created a blog. Im kind of excited to see the outcome.
